HSSE MANAGER

Asili Agriculture is seeking an experienced and strategic Health, Safety, Social & Environmental (HSSE) Manager to lead the implementation of HSSE standards across our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead occupational health & safety systems and programs
• Drive risk assessments, incident investigations & emergency preparedness
• Design and implement HSSE training frameworks
• Ensure compliance with Uganda OSH and NEMA requirements
• Oversee environmental and social impact processes (ESIAs)
• Strengthen community engagement and stakeholder relations
• Champion IFC Environmental & Social standards integration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, OHS, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• NEBOSH Diploma & ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification (required)
• Strong expertise in ISO 14001, risk assessment & incident investigation
• Agriculture/manufacturing experience and IFC audit exposure are an added advantage
