Nile Vocational Institute (NVI), located in Njeru, invites applications from interested, eligible, competent, and reputable firms for pre-qualification to supply goods, services, and works for the period of 2026 - 2027.

CATEGORIES FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION Category A: Supply of Goods
A1: Office Supplies, Stationery, and Furniture.
A2: IT Equipment (Computers, Printers, Peripherals, and Software).
A3: Motor Vehicles and Specialized Training supplies.
A4: Construction Materials, Electrical, Plumbing, and Welding Supplies.
A5: Fishing and Design (Textile) Training Materials.
A6: Agricultural Inputs, Livestock Feeds, and Catering Training Materials.
A7: Food Items, Dry Rations, and Pershables.

Category B: Provision of Services
B1: Security and Guard Services.
B2: Consultancy Services (Strategic Planning, Financial Audits, IT Support).
B3: Compound Maintenance and Landscaping.
B4: Internet Service Provision and Digital Platform Onboarding.
B5: Fumigation of services.
B6: Emptying of pit latrines and rubbish pits.

Category C: Civil and Maintenance Works
C1: General Building Maintenance and Renovation Works.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested firms must provide evidence of the following:

Legal Status:
Valid Certificate of Incorporation/Registration and Trading License.
Tax Compliance: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and VAT Registration (where applicable).
Experience: Proven track record with at least three (3) references or similar works/supplies delivered in the last three years.
Financial Capacity: Evidence of financial stability (e.g., 3 years audited books of accounts and bank statements).
Technical Capacity: Adequate equipment and personnel to fulfill the category requirements.

Bid fees: Prospective bidders are required to pay a non-refundable bid fee of UGX 100,000 for Categories A & B, or UGX 500,000 for Category C. All payments should be deposited to Nile Vocational Institute, Bank Dfcu Bank (Jinja Branch). Account No: 01463500405881.

Physical Copy: Available at the NVI Procurement Department Office during working hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Completed applications must be submitted in PDF format as one single document addressed to Director.

Submissions can be made via email to procurement@nvinjeru.ac.ug or delivered physically to the address above.

Deadline: All applications must be received by 17th April 2026, before 4:00 PM (EAT).

Note: Late submissions will be automatically rejected.

IMPORTANT NOTES
This exercise is open to both new applicants and existing suppliers. Existing suppliers must re-apply to be retained on the 2026-2027 lists.

Nile Vocational Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application, either in whole or in part, and is not bound to provide reasons for its decision.

Submission of an application does not guarantee an automatic contract award.
