CONSTRUCTION OF KATIKARA WOMEN’S DAILY MARKET -KAKUMIRO DISTRICT IN UGANDA

Background

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister OPMJ, and Kakumiro District Local Government, seeks to redevelop the Katikara Women’s Market to enhance women’s economic empowerment. The market is in Katikara Trading Centre, Katikara Sub-County, Kakumiro District, and currently serves over 170 vendors, with anticipated peak usage reaching 500 vendors.

It is against the above background that UNDP is seeking to engage a qualified contractor to undertake the Construction of Katikara Women’s Daily Market -Kakumiro District in Uganda.
