The Government of the Republic of Uganda through the National Animal Genetic Resources Centre and Data Bank (NAGRC&DB) intends to engage eligible suppliers for the supply and delivery of select animal breeding stock notably dairy cattle, beef cattle, dual purpose cattle, meat goats, dairy goats, pigs, multi-purpose poultry and fish fingerlings under framework contract.

Accordingly, NAGRC&DB on behalf of the Government of Uganda invites sealed bids from eligible bidders as per the table below.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method of procurement as stipulated in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the NAGRC&DB Procurement and Disposal Unit Office.

All bidding documents will be available for purchase and inspection during working hours (9.00a.m.-5.00pm) on weekdays with effect from 17th February 2025.

All interested bidders will be required to purchase the sollicitation document at a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (one hundred thousand Uganda shillings only).

All interested bidders must deliver their sealed and marked bids on 10th March 2026 before 11:00am.

All submitted bids will be opened on 10th March 2026 at 11:30am in the presence of the bidders' representatives that choose to attend the bid opening.

Late Bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
