Responsibilities or duties,
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the HOD and the lecturers to ensure that the electronics Lab is always ready for teaching electronics and robotics students according to the curriculum.
- Act as the electronics lab asset manager, i.e., maintain an up-to-date inventory of the electronics lab practical equipment and other supplies.
- Maintain safe custody of the practical equipment and supplies and put in place mechanisms that facilitate students to use the equipment and supplies to complete class assignments and research projects.
- Assist students in the electronics lab by demonstrating the proper and safe use of the equipment and ensure that they have all the supplies they need to complete their practical assignments and projects.
- Assist lecturers with setting up equipment and other supplies for practical courses before and during the lectures.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),
Qualifications, Competences & Experience:
- Must have a first or second-class upper Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science from Uganda Christian University.
- Should have graduated not more than five years ago
- Applicants of computer science, should have done modules related to electronics, robotics or Artificial Intelligence.
- Must have public speaking skills: ability to communicate clearly to individuals, small and large groups.
- Should have excellent interpersonal professional skills: ability to cooperate and network on a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have technical skills: Ability to set up and execute most practical activities related to the UCU electronics curriculum.
- Should be a committed and practicing Christian.
Experience needed,
Should have graduated not more than five years ago
