Job Purpose

The Legal Associate will support the implementation of legal aid and advocacy interventions by assisting Legal Officers in case management, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monitoring and documentation of legal interventions.
  • Assist in preparing activity and periodic reports.
  • Identify emerging advocacy issues within communities.
  • Support the development of partnerships with government and civil society actors.
  • Engage district stakeholders to advance gender justice.
  • Support coordination of project activities and outreach initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (completed or in progress).
  • Skills in mediation, negotiation, and arbitration.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with government, CSOs, and community actors.
