On behalf of our client in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced MARKETING SUPERVISOR to work in Uganda.

Job Title: Marketing Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a marketing supervisor to spearhead the growth of our FMCG brands across Uganda.

This role is designed for a proactive individual who will strategise and supervise the execution of marketing campaigns, moving beyond the desk to lead on-ground activations across Uganda.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of market storms, roadshows, school promotions, consumer activations, and wall branding. You will ensure our on-ground marketing campaigns execute according to plan.
• Coordinate and manage contracts with TV / Radio stations and ensure scheduled ads run as planned.
• Report field observations, competitor movements and consumer behavior insights to shape our marketing strategy.
• Reports directly to the Marketing Director and other company directors.
• The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive, and as part of our dynamic team, you may be expected to undertake additional tasks or special projects as requested by the Director or the company to meet our evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Communication Skills: You are able to communicate clearly, take notes and prepare reports.
• Language: Fluency in English and Luganda is essential. Proficiency in other major Ugandan languages is highly desirable given the national scope of the role.
• Ready to travel extensively throughout Uganda using public transport.
• Experience: 5+ years in FMCG marketing, with a proven track record in field activations and brand management.
