Dalilang Foods & Beverages is a Ugandan FMCG manufacturer producing packaged snacks, including potato crisps, gonja chips, coated peanuts and peanut butter, alongside spring water, fruit nectars and energy drinks.

Job Description

Ensure company products are accurately presented, cleanly displayed, and properly stocked across supermarkets and organized retail outlets.

Execute scheduled store visits to maintain product visibility, monitor inventory levels, and implement point of sale promotions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail stores according to a planned journey schedule.
• Inspect shelves for proper stock levels, cleanliness, correct price labeling, and visibility.
• Arrange products to uphold company merchandising standards and retailer agreements.
• Rotate stock using FIFO or FEFO principles to move older stock forward and isolate expired or damaged items.
• Replenish shelf stock using approved backroom inventory where permitted.
• Install point of sale materials including promotional displays, posters, shelf strips, and price cards.
• Engage store staff and supervisors on stock availability while refraining from unauthorized commercial agreements.
• Record and submit store visit details, shelf photos, out of stock situations, and competitor observations through reporting tools.

Education Qualifications & Experience

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Sales, Commerce, Communication, Retail Management, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, or related studies
• Certificate, National Certificate, or vocational qualification in a business related or practical discipline
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)

Experience

• No prior work experience required.
• New hires complete onboarding training covering product recognition, shelf arrangement, FIFO/FEFO standards, expiry control, retailer conduct, POS materials, and reporting applications.
