Background information about the job or company:

The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer will provide comprehensive MEL support to the Green Dairy Investment Program, the Tractor for Africa project (T4A), and other future initiatives.

Responsibilities or duties:

  • Develop annual monitoring and result measurement plans
  • Provide MEL operational leadership and guidance
  • Design and implement M&E tools
  • Maintain and manage project's data management system
  • Develop knowledge management activities
  • Conduct data quality assessments
  • Provide technical input in project proposals

Qualifications or requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Research, Development studies or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of related working experience
  • Good understanding of agricultural value chains
  • Knowledge of DCED standards

Experience needed:

3 years hands-on experience in Monitoring, Evaluations and Learning
