Dalilang Foods & Beverages is a Ugandan FMCG manufacturer producing packaged snacks, including potato crisps, gonja chips, coated peanuts and peanut butter, alongside spring water, fruit nectars and energy drinks.
Job Description
Provide end to end management of commercial relationships with major supermarket chains, wholesalers, and institutional buyers across Uganda. Drive revenue tracking, customer satisfaction, and commercial target delivery while ensuring operational coordination across internal supply, quality, and logistics functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage commercial relationships and business terms with key supermarket chains, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.
- Translate commercial targets and customer orders into prioritized daily and weekly operational schedules.
- Supervise the accounts team by setting clear work expectations, allocating duties, and monitoring task execution.
- Resolve customer escalations, stock shortages, service failures, and quality deviations quickly while safeguarding product integrity.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved commercial procedures, authorization limits, stock controls, and safety standards without resorting to informal workarounds.
- Coordinate cross functionally with production, warehouse, and dispatch teams to prevent order fulfillment delays and downstream bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate, traceable, and up to date customer records, trade agreements, performance trackers, and reporting documents.
- Monitor sales metrics, account profitability, and operational performance to implement continuous improvements in service and cost management.

Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Higher Diploma, or Ordinary Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- Technical or professional route via relevant TVET, UBTEB, or recognized supervisory, safety, and quality certifications combined with substantial practical experience.
- Equivalent accredited international qualifications in directly related commercial, technical, or management fields.

- 5+ years managing key retail and wholesale accounts in Uganda.
- Manage commercial relationships and business terms with key supermarket chains, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.
