Job Summary
Elysian Strategic Solutions Limited is hiring a qualified Nurse on behalf of our Client (healthcare facility) in Lira. The role requires delivering safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care within a healthcare environment, ensuring high standards of patient safety, dignity, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor, record, and report patient conditions and clinical progress
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Support doctors and clinical teams during procedures and ward rounds
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
- Provide patient education, emotional support, and bedside care
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical standards
Minimum Requirements
- AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EEN) qualification or equivalent
- Valid registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) or recognized authority
- Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong caring approach to patient care
- Excellent communication skills and professional bedside manner
- Strong work ethic and professional presentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
