Description
Goodman International is hiring a Personal Assistant / Secretary (2) to operate and perform to the highest professional standards with considerable Independence, Diversity, Initiative and high level organizational skills and knowledge of Company Policies.
The Overall Responsibility of the Secretary is to support Management in the fulfillment and Execution of duties to ensure efficient management of the office and effective liaison with external partners and contacts as delegated.Management
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Office Administration: Work closely with Management to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and support the completion of assignments.
- Visitor Logistics: Organize and facilitate company visitor activities, including hotel reservations, transport, and other in-house hospitality.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison and resource person in support of the Company Senior Management Team (SMT) and Advisory Board.
- Records Management: Oversee filing, efficient retrieval of corporate records, and proper management of company documents.
- Compliance & Audits: Participate fully in the company’s ISO compliance processes by taking part in meetings, audits, and the compilation of reports.
- Coordination: Coordinate and arrange conferences, meetings, and schedules for the Senior Management Team.
- Team Support: Provide general administrative support to employees and assist the SMT.
- Operational Efficiency: Work together with the SMT to improve company operations, minimize costs, and actively present innovative solutions.
- Event Planning: Plan and coordinate company events, sponsorships, and other corporate activities.
- General Duties: Perform any other professional duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Must hold a Degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Certifications: Must possess certificates in Secretarial and Computer Studies.
- Technical Skills: Highly computer literate with professional-level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint packages.
- Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of working experience in a similar corporate role.
- Attributes: Must be presentable, smart, highly motivated, and able to work well both independently and within a team structure.
- Communication: Excellent spoken, written, and report-writing skills.
- Age: Should preferably be 30 years old and below.
