Paint & Sip Uganda is looking for a passionate and skilled Potter / Pottery Instructor to join our creative team. If you’re experienced in pottery wheel throwing, enjoy working with people, and are passionate about inspiring creativity, we’d love to hear from you.Ceramics & Pottery
The Potter / Pottery Instructor will facilitate engaging pottery sessions, guide participants through hands-on creative experiences, and ensure every guest enjoys a fun, interactive, and memorable experience. The ideal candidate should be technically skilled in pottery and comfortable teaching individuals and groups in a relaxed social setting.Visual Arts & Design Education
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging pottery sessions for individuals and groups.
- Demonstrate pottery wheel throwing and hand-building techniques.
- Guide and support participants throughout the creative process.
- Prepare and manage clay, tools, and studio materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pottery workspace.
- Monitor and manage pottery studio inventory and supplies.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with the Paint & Sip Uganda brand.
- Support studio operations, instructing painting sessions, event setup, and cleanup.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to plan and facilitate both pottery and painting sessions, guiding participants through creative techniques in an engaging and interactive environment.
- Ability to confidently teach and facilitate pottery sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Art background is an added advantage.
