The Government of the Republic of Uganda receives financing from the African Development Fund towards the cost of the Agricultural Value Chain Development Programme (AVCP) - Project 1 and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the Contract for Consultancy Services for preparing Feasibility Studies, Preliminary & Detailed Engineering Designs, Environmental & Social Impact Assessments and Preparation of Tender Documents for construction of proposed irrigation Schemes for production of breeder and foundation Seed Hubs in Various agriculture research and breeding centres across Uganda; PR-HAAIF-AVCP/BRVCG/2025-26/00003.

Lot 1: Lusenke Irrigation Scheme in the National Animal Genetic Resources Centre and Data Bank (NaGRC&DB) located in Mayuge District.
Lot 2: Sereze Irrigation Scheme in National Semi-Arid Research Institute - Serere District.
Lot 3: Harun Irrigation Scheme under the National Agricultural Research Organisation (NARO).

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, and experience in similar conditions, etc.) and specifically:

• The firm must have proven similar experience from previous clients in the same field of expertise.

• Provide detailed information on each of the similar assignments, preferably within Africa, in the form of completion certificates (client references).
