Dalilang Foods & Beverages is a Ugandan FMCG manufacturer producing packaged snacks, including potato crisps, gonja chips, coated peanuts and peanut butter, alongside spring water, fruit nectars and energy drinks.

Operate automated liquid fillers across gravity and counter pressure systems, managing fill levels and anti foaming valves to maintain bottling standards.

Maintain end to end operational accountability for filler start up, continuous line monitoring, changeovers, cleaning, and routine defect containment.

Collaborate with bottling teams to protect safety, quality, hygiene, and efficiency while preventing unnecessary product loss or line downtime.

• Operate automated gravity and counter pressure liquid fillers in accordance with approved operating procedures and safety standards.
• Regulate fill levels and configure anti foaming valves within strictly authorized technical parameters.
• Execute Cleaning In Place (CIP) sanitation cycles, product changeovers, and allergen control protocols before each production run.
• Perform starwheel timing setups, routine filling valve maintenance, and permitted minor mechanical adjustments.
• Conduct regular visual, dimensional, fill level, seal, alignment, and cleanliness quality checks on containers.
• Segregate and contain defective containers or out of specification products immediately to halt downstream processing.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely production records, machine setting logs, and equipment checklists.
• Adhere to occupational safety, food safety, hygiene, lock out/tag out, and personal protective equipment standards at all times.
• Escalate major mechanical malfunctions, safety risks, and severe process deviations immediately to technical support and supervisors.

• Automated rotary liquid filler operation and fill level calibration
• Filling valve maintenance and starwheel timing configuration
• Cleaning In Place (CIP) and production changeover execution
• Defect recognition, containment, and quality verification
• PLC and HMI digital interface navigation with precise record keeping

• Ordinary Diploma or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Food Processing, Production Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, Applied Sciences, or Printing Technology.
• National Certificate, Craft Certificate, Technical Trade Certificate, or relevant TVET qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical disciplines.
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with demonstrated literacy, numeracy, safety awareness, and completion of relevant technical machine training.
