Job Description
Guide bottle packs into secondary master cartons and verify accurate unit counts per carton before final sealing.
Inspect secondary packaging to protect product condition, maintain traceability, and prevent contamination or transit damage.
Support packaging line throughput while upholding occupational safety, hygiene, and documentation standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Guide bottle packs smoothly into secondary master cartons following standard packaging sequences.
Verify unit counts per carton prior to sealing to ensure exact packing count accuracy.
Inspect cartons and packaging materials for physical damage, defects, moisture exposure, or contamination.
Maintain physical control and segregation of packaging materials and finished goods using FIFO or FEFO rotation rules.
Keep complete, legible, and timely logs, checklists, and packaging records to ensure full traceability.
Adhere to all occupational safety, food hygiene, personal protective equipment, and risk control protocols.
Escalate packing variances, machine interruptions, safety hazards, and product defects immediately to supervisors.
Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe loading area to prevent mix ups, damage, and unsafe stacking.

Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE / S.4) or Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE / S.6), with vocational training or demonstrated numeracy and record keeping competence.
National Certificate, Ordinary Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Stores Management, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Business Studies, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related disciplines.
Experience
No prior work experience required.
Includes 1 week training upon appointment.
