Job description

Mission Description

Manage the day-to-day operations of site warehouse activities, ensure compliance with SOPs, accountability of stocks therein, meeting site GM target, liaison with other departments and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and plan dispatch schedules to achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery
  • Implement sound operational procedures to optimize the GM
  • Prepare periodic reports and submit to management
  • Maintain good relations with the Client and address their issues amicably
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Coordinate and control the order cycle
  • Analyze data to monitor performance, forecast demand and plan improvements
  • Hold daily operation review meetings with the team to have full visibility of truck position (loading, offloading, order release status etc.)
  • Liaise closely with the client to ensure release of trucks (ECTS)to various routes
  • Liaise closely with Finance on collection of outstanding balances
  • Proactively check on potential or actual shipment failures and agree on a solution that will achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively contact the Client when service issues may affect delivery commitments, understand their needs to recommend an appropriate solution in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Transport & Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  • 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
