Program/Department Summary

Mercy Corps is Implementing Climate Change Leaders Advancing for Peace, a two-year program (November 2023 – October 2025) funded by Austrian Development Agency with funds from Austrian Development Cooperation. Under the program, we seek to enable women, girls and civil society organizations (CSOs) to conflict affected communities to reduce structural barriers to gender equality, contribute to climate smart natural resource management, strengthen climate resilience for peace for communities of Northeast Uganda, and Northwest Kenya. We aim to specifically improve capacities of women, girls and CSOs to address gender inequality they face in climate and conflict issues and strengthen climate and conflict mechanisms and peace outcomes through increased women’s leadership. These our homes can be reached when the women and girls are trained in climate adaptive livelihood training to support them develop community resilience to climate shocks.

Subject of Tender: Mercy Corps invites eligible service providers to submit their Intent to bid in reference to the above tender.

If you are interested in submitting a bid, you will need to complete an individual Intent to Bid Form and submit it according to the guidelines below.

1. The service providers can request for the Intent to Bid Form through sending an email to ugtenders@mercycorps.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="color: rgb(57, 100, 254); transition: box-shadow 0.2s cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1); border-width: 1.11111px 2.22222px; border-style: solid; border-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); margin-left: -3px; margin-right: -3px; text-decoration: none; position: relative;">ugtenders@mercycorps.org clearly stating the tender number they intend to bid OR Intent to Bid Form can be picked up at respective Mercy Corps offices.

Completed Intent to Bid Forms must be submitted to Mercy Corps by Friday 19 September 2025, 2:00 P.m in one of the below methods.

1. Email completed Intent to Bid Form to ugtenders@mercycorps.org with the Tender Reference Number and company name in the email subject line.

2. Return completed Intent to Bid Form in person to any Mercy Corps office mentioned above depending on your location. The Tender Reference number and company name should be written in the envelope.

After the closing date of this Tender Notice, the Request for Proposals will be sent to the service providers who submitted Intent to Bid Forms only.

NOTE: No fee or payment is required to participate in this tender. Vendor selection is performed separately from the collection of bids / proposals. Please report any irregularities / request for fee or similar to integrityhotline@mercycorps.org
