Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• The candidate should possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL B) degree at least a Second-Class Upper Division or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Enrollment in or completion of a Master of Laws program in the relevant discipline is often an added advantage and may be required by some universities.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use learning management systems and educational technologies.

Responsibilities or duties

• Conduct tutorial sessions, discussions, and practical classes under the supervision of a lecturer.
• Assist in preparing teaching and learning materials.
• Support the administration of coursework, assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Guide students during practical exercises, projects, and fieldwork.
• Maintain records of student attendance and performance where required.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Assist students in understanding course content and learning objectives.
• Participate in departmental and faculty research activities.
• Support academic staff in scholarly publications and research projects.
