Job Summary
The Branch Sales Lead is responsible for driving sales performance at the Kawempe branch, leading field sales activities, ensuring customer acquisition targets are met, and actively contributing to business growth through innovative local outreach strategies.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development
• Lead execution of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the branch.
• Identify and pursue local market opportunities to grow Kray’s loan and savings products.
• Organize and participate in field activations, market days, and community engagement activities.
• Onboard clients onto relevant financial products and ensure KYC compliance.
2. Team Leadership and Supervision
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales agents in Kawempe.
• Monitor performance and provide daily coaching, support, and feedback.
• Allocate sales zones and ensure daily field reporting.
• Maintain a motivated and target-driven sales team culture.
3. Customer Relationship Management
• Maintain a positive relationship with key clients, business groups, and SACCOs.
• Collect customer feedback and escalate product or service issues.
• Educate clients on responsible borrowing, repayment expectations, and financial literacy.
4. Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare daily sales reports, agent performance summaries, and client feedback logs.
• Maintain accurate sales and client onboarding records.
• Support reconciliation of sales, collections, and client documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Microfinance, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in sales or microfinance, preferably in a supervisory role.
3. Strong understanding of local dynamics in Kawempe.
4. Proven ability to lead a field team and meet aggressive targets.
Skills and Competencies
1. Strong leadership and people management skills.
2. Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
3. Goal-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable.
4. Fluency in Luganda and English.
5. Familiarity with digital tools for reporting and client onboarding.
