Background
Bujagali Energy Limited (BEL), owner and operator of the 250MW hydropower plant on the River Nile in Jinja, invites applications for Electrical, Mechanical & Civil Artisan Trainees under a structured Two-Year Training Program. This program offers hands-on technical exposure in plant operations, maintenance, and civil works within a world-class power generation facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all company training programs.
- Assist and participate in inspection and maintenance of plant mechanical/Electrical equipment.
- Assist in execution mechanical/Electrical and civil works for Bujagali Energy Limited.
- Assist in design, planning and organize resources (labour and materials) for Mechanical/Electrical and Civil works.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure safety of self and team-mates at all times.
- Assist in preparation necessary documents prior to works including permits to work and related safety documents, relevant procedures and work instructions.
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil & Building engineering.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
