TotalEnergies EP Uganda invites experienced contractors (“CONTRACTOR”) to express their interest in providing management services for O’ and A’ Level Company Scholars in schools within Mukono, Wakiso, Hoima and Gulu as per further description below:
Context
The Company initiated both the Girls Education Programme for O’ Level scholars and the Local Education Programme for A’ Level scholars in compliance with one of its foundation pillars: Youth inclusion and Education; the CSR Pillar: Creating a Shared Value with Stakeholders and Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5; Good Quality Education and Gender Equality.
The Girls’ Scholarship established in 2015 aims to strengthen girls’ academic performance at O’ Level within the region and increase their ability to access advanced level education as well as address gender related issues of equity and equality in Secondary Education. 20 academically excelling students are selected from Bullisa and Novoya district for this opportunity.
The Local Education Scholarship Programme (A Level) was initiated in 2013 offering up to 30 Education opportunities for brilliant male and female students who excel at O’ Level from the districts of Bullisa, Novoya, Pakwach and Masindi to undertake their A Level studies in some of the best high schools in Uganda.
These Scholarships support academically gifted but financially constrained students from districts that host the Tilenga Project to access quality secondary education both Ordinary Level (O’ Level) and Advanced Level (A’ Level) with a focus on science subjects. The program aims to provide students with the opportunity to excel in STEM subjects and gain admission to university.
Achievements to-date
Since inception, 377 beneficiaries of the programme have been supported. Most of these have been able to complete their studies successfully and enrolled to universities within the Country. 241 have completed these scholarships while 136 are continuing and currently placed in partner schools.
Scope of Work:
The selected CONTRACTORS shall ensure that at least 60 A’ Level and 83 O’ Level students from the Contract Area are supported to offer science subjects/combinations and achieve an Ordinary Level and Advanced Level (A’ Level) Education in Uganda over a period of four (4) years for O’ Level and two (2) years for A’ Level. This will be a split contract awarded to two contractors, with each responsible for a specific number of students.
Interested parties require an in-depth understanding of Education Management Services with a minimum of three (3) years of experience. For purposes of the EOI and prequalification process, interested parties shall demonstrate the following minimum requirements:
Experience in managing educational support services.
Working with multiple stakeholders in the private and public sectors.
Experience in offering career guidance.
Experience in logistical operations.
Experience in planning and organizations.
Financial capacity to deliver the services required.
Current registration to; or application to; the National Supplier Database for the year 2025.
EOI Participation
Interested parties shall express their interest by submitting an email request to: ep-prequalification-ugep@totalenergies.com on or before 7th October 2025, no later than 14:00 hrs. (GMT-3) requesting for the prequalification questionnaire for the aforementioned services.
Interested parties shall:
(i) Quote in the subject line: “EOI ref No: PR 10443112 – Education Management Services.”
(ii) Provide the details of the participating company, name and physical address, contact person including a phone and email contact.
Following receipt of the EOI email request, COMPANY shall register the interested parties in its e-sourcing platform ARIBA, to enable the interested parties to submit their completed prequalification questionnaires. All prequalification & eventual tender processes shall be conducted on this platform. Please note that ARIBA will accept individual attachments and compressed folders (zip) not exceeding 150MB per document uploaded. Documents may be split up to meet this system requirement.
Note:
Only shortlisted prequalified bidders will be contacted in furtherance of the Call for Tender process.
