Job Summary

A leading Poultry Farm based in Kampala is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring the overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan tax laws, statutory requirements, and IFRS
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies
• Provide financial insights to management to support business growth
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators
• Design financial systems

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years at managerial level
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Ugandan tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
