The HR Manager Shared Services will be responsible for the staff resourcing and reward and benefits administration on behalf of BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd. The position will drive the automation of HR processes in alignment with the bank’s digitization strategy
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the recruitment processes of all staff members in close coordination with the heads of department
- Proactively ensure optimal staffing levels through regular assessment of workforce needs and the recommendation of the required manpower
- Manage the staff benefits administration processes by ensuring that all the benefit claims, information and policy changes are accurately actioned within the agreed timelines
- Manage the employee exist process in alignment with the regulation and the bank policy
- Act as a focal point for all controls in HR to drive a good control environment by close monitoring, and ensuring Compliance to internal and external regulations
- Provide training and guidance to bank employees on regulatory matters and bank policies
- Lead the document management process to ensure safe and secure management of employee records
- Monitor and manage all HR service providers to support service delivery to all employees of BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd
- Prepare periodic staff information reports to guide decision making and act as focal point for all HR Data reports
- Manage the performance and the development of the unit staff in line with the division workplan and the bank strategy
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Social Sciences or Organizational Psychology
- 1-3 years of experience at supervisory level and above, preferably in the financial services institution
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage
