INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR THE PROJECT OF DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA RICE SEED CULTIVATION COMPLEX IN UGANDA.

1. The Project Management Consultancy firm (PMC) for the Project of Development of Africa Rice Seed Cultivation Complex in Uganda (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) received funding (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”) from the Korea Ruizu Community Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the “RRC”) on behalf of the Government of Korea to implement the above mentioned project.

2. Accordingly, the PMC invites Proposals from local and international eligible bidders to provide the following services: Construction Works for the Project of Development of Africa Rice Seed Cultivation Complex in Uganda.

3. Project Description:
   a. Title: Construction Works for the Project of Development of Africa Rice Seed Complex (Uganda)
   b. Land Development (65 ha), Inigarian Canals, Drainage Canals and Acacia Roads
   c. Site areas: Block 5, Tocila Inigarian Schemes, Oyam District, Uganda
   d. Roll Type: Open Competitive Bidding with Pre-Qualification (PG)

4. Qualification Documents for Rid Participation: to be sent in the email below
   a. Company Profile
   b. Valid Certificate of Business Registration (Uganda)
   c. Copy of Valid Trading License (Construction Works, Uganda)
   d. Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) - Tax Identification Number (TIN)
   e. Evidence of tax compliance for a period of 1 year (2024)
   f. Construction Experience: The company must have experience in at least one project with a budget of USD 500/600 or more or similar (land development, irrigation, canal construction) experience (completed) in the park 5 years;
   g. A Bidder (including JV members and its affiliates) shall not have a conflict of interest.

NOTE: Before submitting a full set of the above required documents, a bidder will not be able to access the bid documents and drawings.

5. Proposals must be delivered in property sealed envelopes to the address below by 2:00 PM, 15 August 2025, and the kids won’t be accepted. Proposals will be opened at 2:10 PM, 15 August 2025, in the presence of bidders’ representatives.

6. PMC will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by applicants in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
