Background

The Rakai Health Sciences Program is a leading research institution in Uganda focused on improving health outcomes through high-impact research. We are currently seeking to hire a Laboratory Technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and sample processing.
• Verify sample integrity and documentation.
• Report test results accurately.
• Perform quality control procedures.
• Adhere to ISO 15189:2022, GCLP, and laboratory safety standards.
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Science or related field.
• Knowledge of GCLP and quality management systems.
• Good laboratory, documentation, and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
