JOB DETAILS:
To promote plant-based nutrition and develop inclusive dietary guidelines that support diverse communities in Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to create culturally appropriate vegan dietary guidelines.
- Educate individuals and groups on balanced plant-based diets and alternatives.
- Provide evidence-based advice on nutritional adequacy, meal planning, and supplementation for vegan lifestyles.
- Support community outreach programs to advocate for ethical and sustainable eating.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- Expertise in plant-based diets and familiarity with local food systems.
- Passion for health equity, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability.
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
