POSITION OBJECTIVE.
To drive sales growth and market expansion of kitchen appliances across Uganda by identifying, onboarding, and managing general traders, dealers, and wholesalers while strengthening the company’s presence in key regional markets.
 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Market Development & Customer Acquisition.
 
- Identify and onboard new general traders, dealers, and wholesalers dealing in home and kitchen appliances.
 
-  Map and establish presence in key appliance markets across Uganda  Kampala, Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu, and other major towns.
 
-  Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
 
- Sales Execution and Relationship Management.
 
- Regularly visit traders and partners to promote products, strengthen relationships, and secure bulk orders.
 
- Negotiate terms of trade, pricing, and promotional deals in line with company policies.
 
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
 
- Customer Database Management.
 
-  Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of active and potential B2B customers.
 
-  Track and report on customer engagement, order history, and sales performance.
 
- Reporting and Coordination.
 
-   Prepare and share weekly market visit reports, sales updates, and competitor insights.
 
-  Collaborate with the logistics, marketing, and finance teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payments.
 
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE.
-   Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
 
-   Minimum 1-3 years of proven sales experience in home appliances or electronics, preferably with a regional or multinational brand.
 
-    Demonstrated success in managing B2B and channel sales (dealers, traders, wholesalers).
 
- Strong market understanding of Uganda’s appliance and electronics sector.
 
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 
-  Willingness to travel extensively across Uganda.
 
    KEY COMPETENCIES:
-    Proactive and target driven.
 
- Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
 
-  Strategic market mapping and reporting skills.
 
-   Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
 
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
