JOB DETAILS:

Primary function:

Responsible for technical support and data management related to well control during site operations and assist the Well Control Manager in carrying out well control management.

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct routine well control management and develop well control management system documents.
• Participate in well control inspections and acceptance of well control equipment from drilling contractors on site, summarize non-conforming items and supervise relevant rectifications.
• Organize and join/incorporate well control inspection prior to drilling into the reservoir information.
• Track the improvement and implementation of well control technical measures of each single well.
• Supervises the standardized installation of well control equipment, the inspection and recording of well control emergency materials, promptly coordinate and deal with problems found.
• Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, or the related.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Knowledge: 

• Basic knowledge of drilling & completion operations and well control
• Knowledge of the local petroleum regulations and laws.
• Understanding of drilling & completion general procedure.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 48

Level of Education: bachelor degree
