The Ministry of Health (MoH) received funding from the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) as well as build strong, resilient systems for health to tackle current and new emerging threats. Responsibilities or duties

This role is responsible for building and managing the Ministry of Health’s National Data Warehouse, ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and secure. It provides technical leadership in data architecture and business intelligence to transform national health data into accessible insights, enabling effective analysis, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• An Honours Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software engineering and Computer Engineering, Information Security, Business Computing, Statistics, Telecom engineering, electrical engineering or Science (with focus on computer science or mathematics)
• Proficiency in Linux and Microsoft technologies, Proficiency in Database Administration, ETL, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence.
• Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related field from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience needed

• At least 10-years of working experience as a Data warehouse architect in Government or, an equivalent level of Data warehouse architect work experience from a reputable organization. Five (5) years of which must have demonstrable hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouse or large-scale data platforms with experience in donor funded projects and public sector.
