About the Role
We are looking for a driven, client-focused Associate Client Executive to join our Employee Health & Benefits team. Reporting to the Head of Employee Health & Benefits, you will deliver specialised insurance solutions to a diverse client base and help lead, service and grow a portfolio of international and complex accounts, ensuring strong outcomes for both the client and OLEA.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in any field, preferably IT, Nursing, Medicine, Human Resource Management, Employee Benefits, Healthcare Insurance certifications or Business Administration
A recognised insurance qualification (e.g. DIU, COP, CII or equivalent)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong client-servicing, communication and analytical skills
Ability to work in a team, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs
A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and personal leadership
Ability to travel for client work at short notice
Ongoing authorisation to work in Uganda
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and project-manage end-to-end client servicing for an assigned portfolio
Prepare pre-renewal reports, renewal strategies and strategy meeting materials on time
Support the sales strategy for managed accounts and contribute to new business development
Prepare and share policy summaries as requested by clients
Manage the invoicing workflow and quality-check policies and invoices before release to clients
Ensure premiums are collected and correctly matched internally
Work with the Claims team to maintain high claims and service delivery standards
Support technical coverage and policy wording negotiations with insurers
Build strong relationships with client organisations and leading insurers in the market
Maintain complete, accurate client and insurer records in line with OLEA compliance requirements
Market OLEA Uganda's full range of products and services to clients where appropriate
Share knowledge on clients, markets and documentation with the wider team
