CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER QUALITY MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT FACILITY AT BOBI IN OMORO DISTRICT – MWEWRKS/25-26/00004

1. The Ministry of Water and Environment has received funds through the German Cooperation with Uganda from the Federal Republic of Germany through the KFW to be used for Construction of a Water Quality Monitoring and Management Facility at Bobi in Omoro District.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act) Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8:40 from 08:00am to 05:00pm.

5. The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8:00 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000- or Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand shillings. The method of payment will be Direct Debit to URA Accounts.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8:40 at or before 18th December 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 70,000,000- or Uganda Shillings Seventy Million only. Bid Securities must be valid until 22nd July 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8:40 at 18th December 2025.

7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting/site visit at Bobi Sub County Offices in Omoro District on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
