Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer specializing in MRI systems to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our diagnostic imaging equipment. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, calibration, and quality assurance of our MRI scanners, directly impacting the quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, servicing, and inspection of MRI systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for advanced repairs and parts procurement.
- Ensure all equipment complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Manage installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of MRI and related equipment.
- Provide technical training and support to radiology staff on the safe and effective use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing MRI systems.
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, cryogenics, and computer networking.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
