Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) is a body corporate
established by the Nurses and Midwives Act. 1996 to regulate Nursing and
Midwifery professions in Uganda so as to ensure public safety.

To effectively deliver her mandate, the Council is pleased to inform the
public that we have launched the call for applications for the Nursing and
Midwifery Research Grants 2025 for the Nurses and Midwives in Uganda.

The Nursing and Midwifery Grants will enable Nurses and Midwives
enhance their ability to generate evidence that would inform Council on
best practices in fulfilling its mandate pursuant to the provisions of the
Act under section 3.
