Join the Second Cohort of the SHE SOARS Youth Advisory Board (YAB) 2025–2028

Are you a passionate youth leader from Kenya, Uganda, or Zambia with experience in the SHE SOARS project? Do you want to shape local, national, and regional SRHR policy, strengthen youth engagement, and ensure the sexual and reproductive health rights of girls and women are meaningfully prioritized? This is your opportunity to take the lead!

Who Are We Looking For?

• We are recruiting ONE young leader per country (Kenya, Uganda, Zambia) to serve on the second cohort of the SHE SOARS Youth Advisory Board.

• Aged 18–22 at the time of application.

• Proven experience working with the SHE SOARS project (at least 1 year).

• Available to commit 20 hours per month from September 2025 to August 2028.

• A strong background in adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) interventions, youth advocacy, or community development.

• Affiliated with or emerging from a youth-led organization, group, or collective within the SHE SOARS consortium in the respective country.

• Committed to feminist, intersectional, and anti-oppressive values.

• Willing to work collaboratively and engage in decision-making spaces.

• Able to attend virtual meetings and communicate in English.

About the YAB

The Youth Advisory Board is a fully youth-led structure established to promote Meaningful Youth Engagement (MYE) across the SHE SOARS project. YAB members advise on program design, implementation, evaluation, and advocacy, ensuring the voices of young people directly impacted by the project are heard and respected.
