JOB DETAILS:
SimbaNET Uganda is looking for an experienced FTTX / FTTH Designer to join our Technical team and help drive the expansion of high-quality fiber networks across Uganda.
Role highlights:
- FTTH surveys & OSP design
- Network route planning and optimization
- Splice plans & Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Close collaboration with construction, NOC & commercial teams
Ideal candidate:
- 5+ years’ experience in FTTH / OSP design
- Strong GIS / AutoCAD skills
- Solid understanding of GPON / XGS-PON architectures
- Experience working within an ISP environment
