Description

Jibu is hiring a Front Desk Supervisor to coordinate in-store sales, manage customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence. Your role is pivotal in maintaining a clean, organized store, managing inventory, and promoting the Jibu brand within your territory. You will create exceptional customer experiences, fulfill orders, and represent Jibu professionally with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Jibu will provide training on brand standards, sales, and operations, equipping you with the tools to succeed. We seek a hardworking individual with a “never give up” attitude, eager to learn and take ownership of tasks.

Reports To: Corporate Store Manager

Internal Interfaces:

  • Corporate store team
  • Franchise support team
  • Quality and production team
  • Sales and marketing team

External Interfaces:

  • Jibu customers
  • Other Jibu franchisees and staff
  • External regulators

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate in-store sales for walk-in customers and outgoing orders to retailers or business customers.
  • Ensure an excellent in-store customer experience.
  • Input all sales into the online Point of Sales system daily.
  • Manage customer relationships by regularly contacting customers for feedback.
  • Share customer feedback with the store manager to develop and implement improvement strategies.
  • Conduct physical inspections to ensure stock quality.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy store with products presented according to Jibu standards.
  • Coordinate cleaning of franchise premises.
  • Capture data from sales and production teams to reconcile production with sales.
  • Manage inventory and assets.
  • Handle customer comments and complaint forms.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules.

Supervision Received:

This position operates autonomously with guidance and support from the Corporate Store Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience Requirements:

  • Direct (field) sales experience, preferably with a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (direct sales, customer service) with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable with financial calculations and analysis.
  • Fluent in Luganda and proficient in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enjoying interaction with diverse individuals and building relationships.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to develop and follow plans.
  • Ability to influence team members and represent the Jibu brand to external stakeholders (e.g., visitors, potential investors).
  • Strong desire to learn and a “never give up” attitude.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Completed secondary education.

Preferred Education Requirements:

  • Educational background in sales & marketing, communications, or business administration.

Required Skills:

  • Proactive problem-solving and solution implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and adhere to plans.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to motivate and influence team members, including those senior in age.
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to keep team members motivated and on track.
  • Represent the Jibu brand professionally to external stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting of bottles/inventory as needed.
