Role Summary
thinkIT is seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of web and mobile applications. The developer will play a key role in ongoing software projects including healthcare platforms, e-learning tools, agricultural platforms and digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Implementation
• Build and maintain front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Laravel, Django, Node.js, Go, Java).
• Develop RESTful APIs and manage integrations with third-party services.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver scalable digital products.
• Knowledge with Intellij IDE, using Apache FINERACT would be desirable.
• Use Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
Project Management & Team Collaboration
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and implement tech solutions.
• Provide technical documentation and maintain code quality and standards.
Monitoring & Optimization
• Conduct performance tuning, load testing, and optimization of applications.
• Implement logging and monitoring tools for diagnostics and support.
Timeframe
The position has a 3 months’ probation period and an annual contract renewal will be based on performance and availability of funds.
Intellectual property
thinkIT will have the intellectual property rights over the knowledge product developed through this assignment.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development with a strong portfolio.
• Experience with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and software development practices.
