Background information about the job or company:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the HR database is accurate, secure, and used efficiently to support all HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, performance management, and reporting.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Act as the primary system administrator for the HRIS
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all HR data.
- Generate standard and custom reports for HR metrics, headcount, turnover, and other analytics to support decision-making.
- Troubleshoot system issues, provide user support, and train HR staff and employees on how to use the system effectively.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and testing in collaboration with IT vendors or the internal IT department.
- Streamline HR processes through automation and system optimization.
- Maintain user accounts, access levels, and security settings.
- Liaise with the software provider for technical support and to stay updated on new features.
Qualifications or requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HRIS administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
- High proficiency in database management, MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and reporting tools.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential information.
