Context & Environment
Tilenga and Kingfisher oilfields developments are the Upstream component of the Lake Albert project, Uganda’s first oil development. Active relationship with the authorities (PAU), partners and internal stakeholders and delivery partners. Management of more than 400 wells during the production phase of the project.
Activities
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate brainstorming performance bottlenecks and improvements.
- Identify performance initiatives in Operations and present to leadership. Manage and track the implementation.
- Perform spot analysis on low performing activities.
- Support entities in defining and preparing the KPIs.
- Implement and run the communication of KPIs across the organization.
- Drive strategic alignment process and tracking for RADAR projects.
- Liaise with LEAN, Digital and 3C coordinators to select the relevant methodology to improve performance within the organization and ensure a transversal coherence of initiatives, avoid duplication and promote joint initiatives.
- Support audits and support translation to performance improvements.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5years of experience in the oil & gas industry, Lean certified and proficient in the areas of performance and efficiency, strong experience in working in fast pace, evolving and a strong ability to work in a cross-functional environment, self-starter, open minded and excellent communication skills. Adept with IT tools like Excel, Power BI
