INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING FOR

PROCUREMENT OF A 20 -TON BOX BODY LORRY FOR SEED DISTRIBUTION
PR: UPN/SUPLS/25-26/00092

1. The Government of the Republic of Uganda through the Uganda Prisons Service has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of a 20-Ton Box Body Lorry for Seed Distribution.

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and is open to all eligible bidders.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at $81 from $100am to $100pm/local time.

4. The Bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at $0J and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$1,000,000 (Uganda shillings One Hundred Thousand). The method of payment will be Bank Payment Form (BAF) using the Uganda Prisoner TIN No. 10000392371 as bank of one’s notice.

5. There shall be a pre – bid meeting at Uganda Prisons Service Headquarters Main Boardroom on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(a) by 10-30am on 9th November, 2025. All bids must be accompanied with a bid security/instrance bond security of Ugrs. 8,000,000/ – (Uganda Shillings Eight-Hillion Only) in form of a bank guarantee as indicated in the bid document. Bid security / Insurance bond security must be valid until 17th June 2028. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representative, who choose to attend.
