1. The Government of Uganda has received a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) towards the cost of Construction of a Nile Bridge across River Nile and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for Procurement of Operation and Maintenance Equipment for the Source of the Nile Bridge: Package I - Supply of Operation and Maintenance Equipment.

2. The Ministry of Works and Transport now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of the Operations and Maintenance Equipment (DMA) (the Goods) as described below:

• Supply and delivery of one (1) unit of bridge inspection vehicle

• Supply and delivery of one (1) unit of road sweeper

• Supply and delivery of one (1) unit of water bowser

• Supply and delivery of one (1) unit of bucket truck (Telescopic-Articulated Aerial Platform Vehicle)

• Supply and delivery of one (1) unit of patrol car (4x4 Double Cabin Pick-up truck)

• Supply and delivery of inspection devices and tools

3. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding in accordance with the applicable Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans and is open to all eligible Bidders, as defined in the Bidding Document.

4. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Document during office hours at:

5. The Bidding Document may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Uganda Shillings Three Hundred Seventy Thousand (UGX 370,000) only. To make the payment the Bidder shall request a Payment Registration Number (PRN) from the address above to facilitate payment into the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) account at any bank in Uganda. The document will be collected after submitting evidence of payment at the address above.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in Paragraph No. 7 below on or before 3:00 p.m. on 9 February, 2026 and must be accompanied by a security of United States Dollars Sixty-Seven Thousand (USD 67,000) only.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the offices as specified in the Bidding Document.
