1. Position: Kindergarten Teacher
Department: Early Childhood Education
Reports To: Head of Primary / School Principal
Job Summary:
To create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment for young children (ages 3-6), fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based and structured activities in alignment with the school’s early years curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote holistic development.
- Implement a balanced daily routine of play, creative activities, basic literacy, and numeracy.
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a vibrant, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and guardians through regular communication.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching in a kindergarten or early years setting.
- Passionate, patient, and creative with a deep understanding of child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
