Job Summary:
To provide a strong educational foundation for pupils in Primary 1-3 by delivering the national primary curriculum in a supportive and engaging manner, focusing on developing core literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach all core subjects (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) for the assigned class.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom culture.
- Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or a Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports (Mandatory).
- Proven experience teaching in lower primary classes.
- Strong classroom management and pedagogical skills.
- Proficiency in child-centered teaching methodologies.
