Job Summary:

To provide a strong educational foundation for pupils in Primary 1-3 by delivering the national primary curriculum in a supportive and engaging manner, focusing on developing core literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach all core subjects (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) for the assigned class.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom culture.
  • Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) or a Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience teaching in lower primary classes.
  • Strong classroom management and pedagogical skills.
  • Proficiency in child-centered teaching methodologies.
