Job Summary:
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies that support the company's brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This includes managing advertising platforms such as billboards, digital campaigns, and social media. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, creative insight, and the ability to manage both online and offline marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advertising & Outdoor Media:
ï‚· Coordinate and process payments for billboard and other outdoor advertising platforms.
ï‚· Monitor billboard contract expiration dates and ensure timely renewal or termination.
ï‚· Liaise with vendors for site inspections, maintenance, or campaign changes.
ï‚· Maintain a schedule and database of all outdoor marketing assets.
2. Social Media & Digital Marketing:
ï‚· Design or coordinate the creation of social media renders (images, videos, reels, etc.).
ï‚· Schedule and post content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and others.
ï‚· Monitor engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) and generate performance reports.
ï‚· Respond to inquiries, messages, and comments in a timely and professional manner.
3. Campaign Execution:
ï‚· Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
ï‚· Coordinate with designers, writers, and other creatives to produce marketing materials.
ï‚· Support the launch of new products or services with appropriate marketing efforts.
4. Market Research:
ï‚· Conduct regular research on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.
ï‚· Provide reports and recommendations based on findings to guide strategic decisions.
5. Event Support:
ï‚· Assist in planning and executing corporate events, product launches, trade shows, and exhibitions.
ï‚· Coordinate logistics such as banners, giveaways, and promotional items.
6. Internal Communication & Coordination:
ï‚· Work closely with internal departments to gather content and updates for marketing.
ï‚· Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
7. Administrative Duties:
ï‚· Maintain records of marketing budgets, invoices, vendor contracts, and campaign performance.
ï‚· Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and marketing performance dashboards.
Key Skills & Competencies:
ï‚· Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
ï‚· Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are an advantage.
ï‚· Excellent communication and writing skills.
ï‚· Ability to meet deadlines.
ï‚· Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
ï‚· Data-driven mindset with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
 1–3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
ï‚· Experience with social media management tools
ï‚· Familiarity with digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is a bonus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
ï‚· Timely payment and renewal of billboard and media placements.
ï‚· Growth and engagement rates on social media platforms.
ï‚· Quality and timeliness of marketing content.
ï‚· Successful execution of campaigns and events.
ï‚· Marketing budget adherence and cost optimization.
