Description

Stanbic Bank is hiring a Officer – Inventory Management to ensure effective management, maintenance & implementation of inbound and outbound assets & stock/Inventory Management procedures throughout their lifecycle from the point of delivery, receipting, storage, and disposal/destruction.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts maker-checker processes and stock audit inspections in order to verify that the correct stock is held and disseminated as per procedure guidelines/requirements.
  • Record findings and actions on stock audits, share and maintain softcopies of signed monthly & quarterly stock reports as well as an updated stock report/register at all times. Ensure strict adherence to the Inventory management procedure, fixed asset policy and procedural manual.
  • Conduct quarterly asset verification, reconciliation & disposal process. Ensure all stock/accessories, Bank assets are tagged/labelled and securely stored in or on designated storage facilities.
  • Ensure that the Asset & Inventory Management system is updated at all times with new acquisitions, inventory & asset movements etc. Maintain a clean and safe working environment through implementation of a routine housekeeping programme.
  • Conduct reconciliation of physical counts against system captured metadata. Identify any trends, anomalies and/or possible risks and notify the Team leader to ensure that the necessary actions/remediations are done.
  • Provide necessary information for reporting (by means of analysing and identifying trends and improvement areas as well as make appropriate recommendations) for further management consumption.

Qualifications

  • First Degree Procurement & supply chain management, Stores management
  • 2-3 years experience in asset & stock management.
  • Knowledge in banking/operational processes and systems (SAP, Coupa etc.)
