Background
Heifer Project International (HPI) is a non-government organization whose mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the earth. Since 1982, Heifer International has been working in Uganda to assist the smallholder farmers, on a demand-driven basis, to build their communities by enhancing agricultural production and market access through organizing farmers, inputs distribution, training, value addition and related services.

Heifer International Uganda invites suitable qualified and interested firms to submit sealed prequalification submissions for goods and services required across the regions of Central, Eastern, Western, Northern and West Nile.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO BIDDERS
Applicants shall indicate type of goods/services, category (less) of contract they want to be prequalified for.
a) All applications should be accompanied by the following:

• VAT Registration certificate where applicable

• Certificate of Registration & Articles of Association

• Valid Trading license

• Valid income tax clearance

• Company profile, including detailed list of goods and / or services provided.

• Proof of past supply experience, including list of clients and proof where applicable

• Proof of recent financial capability (Audited Accounts or Bank Statement)
  b) Prequalification documents will be evaluated in accordance with Heifer International guidelines.
  c) The evaluation criteria shall include but not limited to eligibility, experience, capacity, technical and quality requirements and HPI reserves the right to accept or reject a bid.
  d) Clearly labelled and sealed bids marked “APPLICATION FOR PROVISION OF (INDICATE CATEGORY)” must be hand delivered and registered not later than 27th February 2028 by 12:00pm at the address below, late submission shall be rejected.
