Description
Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA) is hiring a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will manage front office operations, ensure smooth communication, and provide administrative support to enhance organizational efficiency.
Reports to: Head Communications and Marketing
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, welcome, and direct visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage incoming calls and correspondence
- Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and organized environment
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, letters and other deliveries
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
- Provide administrative and clerical support to staff as required
- Maintain records, logs, and basic office documentation
- Support internal communication and coordination within departments
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and customer service orientation

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and reliability
- Presentable and Smart
