JOB PURPOSE

To lead, manage, and grow sales operations within the Northern Region by driving revenue performance, supervising and developing the regional sales team, strengthening customer and distributor relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The role is responsible for executing regional sales strategies, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, optimizing territory coverage, and ensuring operational excellence to maximize profitability and market share in the Northern Region.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve and exceed regional sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives within the Northern Region.

Identify and develop new business opportunities, expand distribution coverage, and increase market share across assigned territories.

Supervise, coach, and motivate the regional sales team to ensure high productivity, accountability, and continuous performance improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners to ensure retention, growth, and service excellence.

Develop and implement regional sales plans, promotional activities, and route-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and provide timely reports with actionable insights to management.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.

Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, credit controls, and operational standards within the region.

Manage regional sales budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maximize return on investment.

Generate and share timely weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum qualification of a degree or its equivalent preferably in a business-related course.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

3-5 years working experience in a sales supervisory related job.
