SteadFin Uganda SACCO Ltd is a registered Savings and Credit Co-operative Society operating under the Uganda Co-operative Societies Act (CAP 107). Our registered office is located at Plot 965, SteadFin Tower, Nsambya Estate Road, Kampala.

Scope of Assignment

SteadFin Uganda SACCO Ltd invites technical and financial proposals from qualified and accredited firms to undertake a comprehensive valuation of member shares. The assignment will involve:
a) Determining the net asset value (NAV) of shares held by the SACCO.
b) Assessing the SACCO’s assets, liabilities and equity.
c) Providing a detailed valuation report with methodology and recommendations.
d) Advising on the updated share value in compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested firms must meet the following minimum qualifications:

1. Valid trading license for the current financial year (2024/2025).

2. Registration and accreditation with relevant professional bodies in Uganda.

3. Tax clearance certificate.

4. Proven track record in financial valuations, preferably for SACCOs or financial cooperatives (defined as having completed at least 3 similar assignments in the past 5 years).

5. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar assignments.

Submission Requirements

Proposals must include the following documents in separately sealed envelopes:

1. Technical Proposal:

a) Firm profile and demonstrated competence in valuation services
b) Relevant experience (minimum 3 similar assignments with references)
c) Proposed methodology and approach to share valuation
d) Detailed work plan with timelines and deliverables
e) Qualifications and CVs of key personnel (partners, managers, supervisors)
f) Current staff profiles and team composition

2. Financial Proposal:

a) Total professional fees (inclusive/exclusive of taxes)
b) Itemized fee structure showing daily/hourly rates per fee earner
c) Number of days/hours allocated for each team member
d) Reimbursable expenses, if any (specify and justify)

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Experience and qualifications of the firm and key personnel (30%)

2. Methodology and approach to share valuation (25%)

3. Cost and fee structure (20%)

4. Relevant experience and references (25%)
